How To Disable Sky Drive on Windows 8.1 Preview

As we know that Microsoft have recently launched its new version of Windows i.e Windows 8.1 Preview, and on my last post I have briefly describe some of the new features that have been added on it.  On that I have said that Microsoft have pre-integrated Sky Drive with Windows 8.1 Preview. This helps the users to directly upload the files and data on to the cloud. Sky Drive is one of the best cloud storage server over the internet.
But some the users have not like this features of Microsoft and they want to remove the Sky Drive from the system. As it is pre-installed on the Windows 8.1, hence users cannot uninstall it from the system.
But Microsoft have give the solution of this issue in the post of there official support forum. The company has explained in a short post on the official support forums that SkyDrive integration in Windows 8.1 Preview can be disabled by following a few simple steps.

To disable the Sky Drive Follow the below steps.
1) Open RUN (CTRL+R)  and type gpedit.msc and hit enter.
2) Now follow the path

Local → Computer → Policy\Computer → Configuration\Administrative → Templates\Windows → Components\SkyDrive
