If you are Android lover then you all know that, Android have updated its version to Android 4.4 KitKat. But unfortunately this version is only available on Nexus 5. Now, what to all those who don't have nexus 5, but having android platform smartphone.

Google have not made any announcement for the Android 4.4 on the other android devices. This is something disappointing to you all. But don't worry, here we are something that will give you a smile on your face. We just hope that, you would like this post.

Here we will discuss, how to get android 4.4 on your Android device. But you can have Android 4.4 Kitkat only when your device will have Android version 4.1 Jellybean or above.

So lets start the process to install Android 4.4 Kitkat on your device.  Just follow the following steps below as it is.
[Note:- if you change the steps them you will have the error on the installation.]

  1. Firstly you have to download the following launcher file. [Download here] [Password of zip is ecyberhome.com]
  2. Once it is downloaded, unzip it. You will have 3 apk file.
  3. You have to transfer all the apk file to your phone.
  4. Now make a folder on the Root directory of your Android device and copy all 3 apk on that folder. 
  5. Use file manager to browse the apk files and install it. 
  6. Now here the mail point come. Before installing just check that you will install all the apk file in the following order. First install PrebuiltGmsCore.apk, then Velvet.apk and at last GoogleHome.apk . [ All these files have to be installed in order for the launcher and Google Now to work correctly.]
  7. Now, simply select the launcher by pressing the ‘Home’ button and you’re all done.

This has been tested on the Micromax A72 and on Xolo. This is working fine. 

In case you’re unable to install this, simply go to Apps and uninstall the updates to ‘Google Play Services’. Now try to install all the apk in the order and will work fine. After installation Google will not enable by default on your device. To do this, simply search for anything in using the search bar on the home screen, then scroll down and go to settings to enable Google Now.
